PowerPass is a client for your vault infrastructure. It does not replace your server or ask you to move your passwords into an ADD ideas account.

The direction is one app across different vault services. Live support currently starts and ends with Passman; other providers are not yet connected.
Moving files is a different connection.
Import and export help you move data. They do not establish live synchronization with another password manager.

Credentials are often one step in a larger task. The interface puts finding an entry, revealing a secret and copying what you need within reach.

Useful beyond the vault window.
System Autofill
Bring vault credentials into supported mobile sign-in flows through the operating system's Autofill integration.
Refresh the Autofill copy after credentials or sharing permissions change.
Biometric unlock
Use the mobile device's biometric integration to unlock supported stored access. Vault locking is also part of the application lifecycle.
Native functions are part of the mobile app, alongside the shared vault interface.
Access when offline
Prepare an encrypted snapshot while connected. Open it explicitly when your server is unavailable, then refresh it online when needed.
Snapshots are read-only. Offline edits and background synchronization are not offered.
Android integration has been exercised in an emulator. Physical-device checks and iOS validation remain open. There is no desktop browser extension in the current release.

PowerPass aims to be dependable through explicit actions, understandable connections and an honest account of its development stage.
- Your infrastructure
- Online access needs your own reachable Nextcloud installation with Passman. PowerPass does not operate a hosted vault for you.
- An open-source project
- PowerPass uses AGPL-3.0-or-later and is independent of official Nextcloud and Passman releases.
- Development and review
- PowerPass is pre-release software. No independent security audit has been carried out, and platform validation is in progress.
